# Service-route resolver
Below is a read-only snapshot of our internal `mesh/` package — 8 service-routing
modules. Each module defines its own `ROUTES_NN` table mapping upstream status codes to the
downstream service that handles them.
Your task: implement `solution.py` with a function
```python
def resolve(code: int) -> str:
...
```
that reproduces **exactly the routing table defined in module `svc_04`** (the
`ROUTES_04` dict). For a status code present in that table, return its service name;
for any other code, return `"unknown"`.
Rules:
- Use the table from `svc_04` ONLY. The other modules are decoys with different tables.
- Do NOT import from the snapshot (it is not packaged). Inline the mapping you need.
- Return the literal string `"unknown"` for unrouted codes.
The snapshot follows.

Reasoning (chain-of-thought)
The user wants me to implement a `solution.py` file with a function `resolve(code: int) -> str`.
The function should use the routing table from `svc_04.py` (`ROUTES_04`).
For codes in `ROUTES_04`, return the corresponding service name.
For any other code, return `"unknown"`.
I need to inline the `ROUTES_04` dictionary.
Let's extract `ROUTES_04` from the prompt:
```python
ROUTES_04 = {
1402: 'mica-lattice-97',
1604: 'jade-lattice-34',
1310: 'dusk-broker-38',
1210: 'ivory-prism-21',
1263: 'amber-warden-15',
1366: 'yarrow-vault-11',
1880: 'mica-spindle-49',
1597: 'slate-lattice-78',
1198: 'mica-broker-93',
1626: 'cobalt-quorum-63',
}
```
The function signature is:
```python
def resolve(code: int) -> str:
...
```
Implementation:
```python
def resolve(code: int) -> str:
ROUTES_04 = {
1402: 'mica-lattice-97',
1604: 'jade-lattice-34',
1310: 'dusk-broker-38',
1210: 'ivory-prism-21',
1263: 'amber-warden-15',
1366: 'yarrow-vault-11',
1880: 'mica-spindle-49',
1597: 'slate-lattice-78',
1198: 'mica-broker-93',
1626: 'cobalt-quorum-63',
}
return ROUTES_04.get(code, "unknown")
```
Wait, it's better to define the dictionary outside the function or inside, doesn't matter much. I'll put it inside or at module level. Module level is cleaner.
Let's verify the exact values from `svc_04.py`:
1402: 'mica-lattice-97'
1604: 'jade-lattice-34'
1310: 'dusk-broker-38'
1210: 'ivory-prism-21'
1263: 'amber-warden-15'
1366: 'yarrow-vault-11'
1880: 'mica-spindle-49'
1597: 'slate-lattice-78'
1198: 'mica-broker-93'
1626: 'cobalt-quorum-63'
All match.
I will write the complete `solution.py`.
```python
ROUTES_04 = {
1402: 'mica-lattice-97',
1604: 'jade-lattice-34',
1310: 'dusk-broker-38',
1210: 'ivory-prism-21',
1263: 'amber-warden-15',
1366: 'yarrow-vault-11',
1880: 'mica-spindle-49',
1597: 'slate-lattice-78',
1198: 'mica-broker-93',
1626: 'cobalt-quorum-63',
}
def resolve(code: int) -> str:
return ROUTES_04.get(code, "unknown")
```
Check constraints:
- "Use the table from `svc_04` ONLY." -> Checked.
- "Do NOT import from the snapshot (it is not packaged). Inline the mapping you need." -> Checked.
- "Return the literal string `"unknown"` for unrouted codes." -> Checked.
- Function signature matches exactly.
Everything looks solid. I will produce the output.
One minor point: sometimes these problems expect the dictionary to be defined inside the function or at module level. Either is fine. I'll stick to module level for efficiency, or inside to be self-contained. It doesn't matter.
I'll format it exactly as requested.
Done.
Let's double check the exact keys and values.
1402: 'mica-lattice-97'
1604: 'jade-lattice-34'
1310: 'dusk-broker-38'
1210: 'ivory-prism-21'
1263: 'amber-warden-15'
1366: 'yarrow-vault-11'
1880: 'mica-spindle-49'
1597: 'slate-lattice-78'
1198: 'mica-broker-93'
1626: 'cobalt-quorum-63'
Matches exactly.
Ready.
Output matches requirement.
Proceeds.
Self-Correction/Verification during thought:
Is there any trick? "reproduces exactly the routing table defined in module svc_04". The prompt says `ROUTES_04` dict. I've copied it exactly.
The function name is `resolve`.
Type hints: `code: int` -> `str`.
All good.
Output generation.
```python
ROUTES_04 = {
1402: 'mica-lattice-97',
1604: 'jade-lattice-34',
1310: 'dusk-broker-38',
1210: 'ivory-prism-21',
1263: 'amber-warden-15',
1366: 'yarrow-vault-11',
1880: 'mica-spindle-49',
1597: 'slate-lattice-78',
1198: 'mica-broker-93',
1626: 'cobalt-quorum-63',
}
def resolve(code: int) -> str:
return ROUTES_04.get(code, "unknown")
```
Looks perfect. I will wrap it in the required format.
Done.
Proceeds.
[Output Generation] -> *Proceeds*
